The home has 40 bedrooms, most of which have en-suite shower and toilet facilities. These are situated on the ground floor and first floor, with access to the first floor by stairs or passenger lift. Each room also includes its own television.
The rooms are light and airy and Residents are encouraged to personalise them with their own belongings (small furniture, pictures, ornaments etc).
Yew Tree Nursing Home also has the facility of specialist baths and shower rooms
The Home provides two lounges; one large main lounge and one smaller, quiet lounge, which provide our Residents with a choice of activities or quiet areas to receive visitors.
The Home has a well stocked front garden with a white picket fence to reduce the risk of Residents wandering. There is wheelchair access from left and right of building and through main lounge.
The garden chairs and sunshades are in situ during the summer months.
To the rear of the property there is a lovely quiet sensory garden with wheelchair access.
